SEAFOOD RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE

The Seafood Reconciliation Committee is authorized by Bill No. 2005-10 Seafood Industry “Right to Work”. Committee members are appointed by the County Council.

Membership

The Committee consists of five individuals who all shall be County residents and have a seafood industry background

Meetings

Twice per year, special meetings as needed if grievance arises

Stipend

None

Duties

Arbitrate and mediate disputes involving seafood operations and issue opinions on whether such seafood operations are conducted in a manner consistent with generally accepted seafood industry management processes
