In order to protect your and other’s safety, please always bring a mask with you and keep socially distant when possible. Mask mandates change frequently. Upon entrance, security will instruct you on current mask protocols in accordance with the latest COVID-19 Administrative Order. You will be screened by security at entrance. Those who are ill or not in compliance will not be admitted into the courthouse.
Although we attempt to spread reporting obligations among all jurors, you may be called to serve on any day of the month regardless of your juror number. Therefore, you must check every day after 5pm. It is your responsibility to keep checking to see if your juror number is called for the remainder of the month.

Grand Jurors will receive a written notice in the mail approximately two weeks before having to report.
If you receive a call in reference to missing Jury Duty and have to pay money or you will be arrested from someone who claims to be a Dorchester County Sheriff Deputy.
