DORCHESTER COUNTY IS ACCEPTING
APPLICATIONS FOR SERVICE ON THE
DORCHESTER COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE
CHARGING COMMITTEE
TAKE NOTICE: That the County Council of Dorchester County, Maryland is accepting applications for service on the Dorchester County Administrative Charging Committee (the “ACC”) to serve countywide law enforcement agencies and local law enforcement agencies within Dorchester County, relating to police accountability and police discipline issues in Dorchester County, Maryland.
The ACC is a five (5) member board. There is one (1) Civilian Member vacancy which members are selected by the County Council upon consideration of applications received in response to a public notice issued at least thirty (30) days in advance of such selection. Pursuant to Bill No. 2022-11, Section 122-3, Administrative Charging Committee, the Civilian member must be African-American. Applications for service on the ACC must be received by the County Council of Dorchester County, P.O. Box 26, Cambridge, Maryland 21613 on or before 4:30 p.m., July 11, 2024.
