PUBLIC NOTICE

The County Council of Dorchester County, Maryland will conduct a public hearing at 6:02 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Room 110, County Office Building, 501 Court Lane, Cambridge, Maryland 21613 to consider Bill No. 2024-9, an act of the County Council of Dorchester County, Maryland, pursuant to Section 514 of the Charter of Dorchester County, Maryland, amending the 2024-2025 Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance of Dorchester County, which established the County Budget, consisting of the Operating Budget, the Capital Budget, and the Grant Budget, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025; and appropriating funds for all expenditures for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025, to incorporate the Department of Water and Wastewater Services.

This hearing will be held in Room 110, County Office Building, 501 Court Lane, Cambridge, Maryland 21613. The public is invited to attend and provide comments which are generally limited to three minutes per individual.
