Hourly – No Benefits
$11.75 per hour
These positions supervise Recreation and Parks activities and venues. Employees may work outdoors supervising programs, such as Youth Soccer and Tee Ball, or indoor programs, such as Youth Basketball and Indoor Soccer. Program Supervisors are required to work based on the schedule of the specific program they are assigned. Programs are typically scheduled on Saturdays and evenings. Outdoor programs require the employee to work outside in various temperatures and weather. Employees must be able to interact with children and adults, to include parents in a courteous and professional manner.
This position requires possession of a valid Maryland driver license and high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Travel to events scheduled in various locations within Dorchester County is required and transportation is not provided.
Background screenings are conducted including drug screening.
Skills necessary for job performance include, but are not limited to, ability to work with a group or independently as assigned; ability to operate standard office equipment; ability to handle money and make correct change as required; and to be able to work professionally and courteously with the public in a variety of scenarios.
