Starting Salary $55,000
This position is assigned to the Finance Department. This position carries out senior level accounting and administrative functions primarily, but not exclusively, related to grants and contracts ensuring compliance with grantor agency regulations and laws. This position is required to research grant funding opportunities and prepare grant applications. The applicant must be proficient with automated accounting systems and PC software applications and have the ability to analyze financial information, prepare financial reports and reconcile various accounts. This position requires the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years accounting.
One (1) year of grant accounting experience is preferred.
One (1) year working for government is preferred.
Must possess a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License or equivalent.
Complete background check will be conducted including pre-employment drug screening.
