Job Summary and Essential Functions
Position assists in the design, implementation, and coordination of data collection, reporting, evaluation and quality review activities designed to assess the effectiveness of the County’s grant programs enabling adequate funding levels. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing grant programs and fund support and guidance procedures and practices for assigned internal and external stakeholders, reviewing departmental grant programs and associated applications, schedules, revenues, and expenditure details, monitoring and completing reconciliations, participating in County wide policy development and implementation sessions, coordinating and maintaining documentation, and all other duties as assigned. Grants Accountant shall maintain an extremely high level of customer service and professionalism.

Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field (preferred but project and/or grant experience can be substituted), Microsoft proficient, a minimum of three to five years’ experience in projects or grants, ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally, possess organizational and time management skills and be able to exhibit great customer service skills.
