Budget Manager
Dorchester County

$35 an hour

This is administrative and professional fiscal work responsible for the development of the County’s annual and long-range financial plans and ensuring departmental budgets are implemented appropriately. This position offers strategic leadership and direction to Department Heads and supports County Manager and the Finance Director by providing necessary financial data and expert advice. The position plays a critical role in ensuring the County delivers services and programs efficiently within budget. Works under the general supervision of the County Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the management of fiscal activities and accounting systems.
